Booz Allen’s Alternative Revenue Streams department approached us to transform their 94 page ARS Playbook from a static Microsoft Word document into a dynamic online learning system and collaborative work environment complete with user access controls, team workspaces, a library of resources, templates, and document management and approval workflows
The Virtual Window developed a web application for Booz Allen’s Alternative Revenue Streams team called SEW (Solution Evolution Workspace). This tool creates efficiency in turning ideas into products at Booz Allen by providing dynamic team workspaces. Specific features of the SEW include: Controlled team workspaces where identified BAH employees can share ideas, maintain team artifacts, and complete templates in a central repository. Product team collaboration with legal, finance, pricing, contracts, and go to market consulting services. Access to the ARS Playbook via SSO, has been transformed into an interactive webpage with tools, resources, and samples of completed product documentation to create successful Booz Allen solutions.
When Booz Allen needed to develop a collaborative work environment for their Alternate Revenue Streams playbook, my first thought was to contact Andrew Sherman at the Virtual Window. We had worked on previous projects together for Sodexho, and I knew he was the right person for the job. Working with the Virtual Window team is always a pleasure as their customer service is excellent and they have a knack for understanding a clients needs (often better than the client themselves) and for developing innovative solutions to the challenges of the project. I highly recommend the Virtual Window for any technological need.
